It took a lot of convincing for me to even try the spill pro due to the cost, but after using the spill pro I would not use anything else. It has saved us in more ways than one. The fact that we can evacuate a system instead of draining it and having to drain the drain pan has saved us on man-hours alone, not to mention that we have in floor drains that drain to a water separator then to the soil and it has to be tested quarterly . If we fail a test it would cost us another $500.00 for a re-test, not to mention the expense of chemical to get our discharge to an acceptable level. The savings of possible Worker’s Comp claims due to falls or slips on oil spills, oil dry, man-hours, and DEQ/EPA tests has paid for this product in one month. I am now a believer and plan to put this product in all of our shops.
This product is a Safety Manager’s dream. Thanks Spill Pro.

Shawn,
I just wanted to send you a note on the Spillpro. It must be true that the proof is in the pudding. I was on a tour of our facilities in the Rockies and kept seeing these big aluminum cans on wheels - a different size in each shop. When I would ask a tech about them, they each had their own name for it: super sucker, silver thing, that oil picker upper. They also all had the same comment: I love it! When I tried to "reassign" one to a different department, the supervisor (whose nickname was "puddin") suggested that I go to the lower regions in the earth. When I get thay kind of consensus from unrelated sources, I know we have found a keeper. I'm sure we'll be ordering some more!

Re: 15 gal. Unit

Mr. Shaun Webb,

Doing business with Spillpro has been both cost effective and a pleasure. When oil hits the ground we run for one of our 7 Spillpro units. The 15 gallon units are versatile and plenty adequate for our needs,
Furthermore it is our pleasure to do repeat business with a company that stands behind their product. When we needed replacement parts, not only did we get our parts in a timely manner, you covered them under warranty. We like buying U.S.A. made products. It's good to see our flag on your product. God Bless America. We look foward to doing business with Spillpro as our facility grows.

Hello SpillPro,

Just writing to let you know what we think of the Spill Pro. We were a little hesitant about trying the vacuum, but after getting it here we found many uses. Not only does it suck up oil & antifreeze off the floor as you said it would, it also works great for sucking antifreeze off our engines when doing intake gasket jobs. No more mess of antifreeze dripping on the floor. Also when snow covered cars come in the shop, we can easily suck up the snow.

Thanks for the great product,
Gary

Good Morning Kevin,

The unit has performed well for us so far. In addition to floor cleanups, they have used it for pulling transmission and hydraulic oils, as well as fluids directly from drain pans.

The unit works great when using the larger attachments, but the guys say that it is a little slow when pulling through the smaller tube.

We knew that going in though, and I'm not sure there is a resolution to the problem. We are pleased with it none the less.

Dear Brad,

I was happy to have one of your Spill-Pro units demonstrated at our shop in Ridgefield Washington. I was impressed with how easy it is to use and I am looking foward to not having to continually purchase other products for cleaning up spills; and having to dispose on those products.

This is a quick and easy way for our technicians to clean up after themselves when a spill occurs. Since the purchase was made in Ridgefiels we have added more units in other branches as well.

Sincerely,

RJB Equipment, Inc.10/2/06

Dear Shawn,

Occasionally, a product or a piece of equipment comes to my attention to fill a special need this company has. Such a piece of equipment is the air-activated vacuum canister manufactured by your company.

We purchased the Spill-Pro about a month ago, and since that time have used it to clean up spills and leaks of hydraulic fluids, transmission and gear oil. It has proven to be both efficient and had saved our company about 50% in expense for absorbent products.

With Spill-Pro it now takes less than 5 minutes to transfer fluids from a 55 gallon drum to the hydraulic tanks on the different units. Additionally, when our new equipment is getting primed with new fluid, we use the Spill-Pro to pressurize the hydraulic fluid to the pump, which prevents any possible seizure.

We use our Spill-Pro in our yard, and because of its portability can also load it on a service truck and transport it to a job site to clean up a spill caused by a leaking cylinder or hose. I am also impressed by the fact that this machine is far safer to use around flammable fluids, due to the fact that it is air operated, and is it affordable to purchase.

On behalf of RJB Equipment and its management and employees, thank you for bringing the Spill-Pro to out attention.

Yours very truly,
Tadd E. Burns

To Whom It May Concern,

When it first arrived at our shop I figured what a waste of money and that it would never be used.

About 3 days later I found out different! Someone accidentally knocked over 5 gallons of used oil, and instead of dumping several bags of oil dry on the spill and making an even bigger mess, it took a matter of seconds with spill pro.

Ever since that day, the oil dry is the only thing sitting in the corner collecting dust!

Thanks Spill Pro!

My name is Mario Villalba from United Rentals in Fullerton. A very nice sales person by the name of Jessica called me one afternoon and said she had a piece of equipment that would make my oil spills disappear well we talked and she convinced me that I could rely on this in my day to day business she was not lying.

This piece of equipment is great, my shop has never been cleaner and I credit it to the machine but more to Jessica for introducing me to a great product.

At first it looked as if the Spillpro might spend a lot of time in the corner of our shop waiting for a spill big enough to clean up, until we used the attachment on an oil change for a lift.

The Spillpro was quick and drained the old oil complete. The Spillpro is one shop tool that will be used everyday.

The Spillpro is very portable and will be used in the shop as well as in the field.

United RentalsTo Whom It May Concern,

We have tried the Spillpro vacuum unit and have found it to be every thing they said it was and more. It has cut our cost on oil dry to almost zero.

It is very easy to use and it works great. With a home made attachment it will also drain oil from your engine's in turn making an oil change on your equipment twice as fast which saves time and money.

I would recommend this product to any one that works in a shop where oil spilld are a problem. This is one of the best additions to my shop that I have made in a long time.

Thank you for introducing me to this great new way of cleaning spills.

To Whom It May Concern,

The inventor of “Spillpro” has the right idea of efficiency. Our shop is extremely pleased with the performance of this recovery evacuation unit. I highly recommend Spillpro for all clean up and recovery liquids.

This unit is easy to use and handle. With all the evacuation systems I have used, this is truly the best. Spillpro is a must have system for every shop.

Now clean up time has reduced drastically, and everyone enjoys using your system. Thank you for the opportunity to use this wonderful product.

Spillpro is a great product!!!

Our center purchased the first Spillpro Unit 2 years ago. We were so thrilled with the unit, we purchased a second one less than a year later.

All of the employees in our shop use it, and have never had any problems with them.

Aamco Transmissions would highly recommend this product to other shops. We have found that it pays for itself in saving time of the employee and the cost of cleaning materials.

We find the "Spillpro" to be a very handy and valuable tool in our shop. Hydraulic messes are very often, unavoidable. It very quickly vacuums up the majority of spilled oils.

We still use floor dry absorbents, but the amount we use has probably been reduced by 70%. Although its promamry "job" is sucking up oil off the floor, we've also found it handy, with the help of homemade adapters, in avoiding spills by using it as a vacuum source.

When you have to remove a HYD. device that you know will cause a steady leak for the duration of the repair, create a vacuum in the thop of the hydraulic tank first, then it doesn't leak at all. We also have many pieces of equipment with very slow draining hoses out of the engine oil pans.

By using suction, an oil drain that normally runs 15 minutes can be done in less than 1 minute. As a last note, it has reduced the time absorbents have to be oh the floor drastically.

Ref. 25 Gallon Spillpro unit

Dear Mr. Charles;

I wanted to take a minute to thank you for contacting me about your Spillpro units. It does everything you said it would do and performs exactly like the demo tape on your web site www.thespillpro.com.

After reviewing the demo tape, I was still a little hesitant that the unit would perform as shown in the video but after recfeiving the unit and using it in our shop it does everything you said it would do and as shown in the vide. After we move into our new shop we will be purchasing more units.

Thank you,

Dear Kevin Santillie,

Subject: Spill Pro I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to try The Spill Pro.  In our industry (Heavy Industrial Equipment Repair and Sales) we generate a lot of spills and have historically used absorbent mats, etc. to remedy. All you really accomplish with that method is moving the mess.

It is very rare anymore that you find a tool that works well, is reliable and does what you want it to do.  The Spill Pro has accomplished all of those things and is remarkably easy to use.

Thanks again for putting a great tool in our hands.

To Whom It May Concern,

We all know how hard it can be to keep a tractor service shop clean, not to mention the rising costs incurred along the way, specifically with using oil absorbent pads to pick up oil spills. The Spillpro offers everything we were looking for and then some.

During our demonstration period we found the Spillpro helped reduce and in some cases eliminate all together the use of oil absorbent pads when cleaning up oil spills.

We also discovered the Spillpro could be used in some of our preventive maintenance procedures to shorten up the pm process and even eliminated the need for drain pans. We demonstrated eleven 13 gal. Spillpro units and were so pleased we decided to purchase fifteen 25 gal. units.

The Spillpro has turned out to be the cost effective tool we were looking for. Technicians like using it because it’s on wheels, light weight, easy to use and cuts down on clean up time.v As a 5 Star Contamination Control dealership we know the importance of a clean shop. The Spillpro helps us maintain our high standards in the most cost efficient way possible.

Performing Depot Level maintenance out here at Tinker Air Force base, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the Spill Pro has been a valuable tool , in our daily usage, to perform our tasks. One of the tasks it assists us in performing, is when we open up and mop out all the fuel tanks/bladders. Once the aircraft lands here for depot maintenance, we defuel the aircraft of what the Aircraft landed here with.

Usually after this operation is performed, there is usually around 100 to 300 gallons of fuel , still inside the tanks. In order for the LEL/O2 level to be within proper tech datalimits, for this aircraft to go inside any of our hangars, we have to send a person in the tanks and suck out all the loose fuel and break the fine lines to try and get all the fuel out of the Aircraft. Prior to us receiving the Spill pro, we were using a sucker barrel which is a 100 gallon tank on a trailer.

It would be hooked up to 2 High Volume Low Air units. Working the KC-135 from wing tip to wing tip, would require 2 to 4 people to maneuver this unit around. During the winter months, it would be a hair raising deal to move this unit, the air hoses and vacuum hose, over the ice and snow. With the Spill pro, one person can perform this task safely without worry. The unit is light weight and ice and snow hold no problem to moving this unit around, by one person.Another task we use this unit for, is when we change components on the flightline.

Changing fuel filters and hydraulic engine driven generators, they are always fluid in the lines we have to remove to change the component out. With the Spill pro there, we can easily suck up all the fluid that runs out on the ramp.

With this unit there, we cut down the cost of buying absorbent material to absorb the fluid , which in turn, cuts down on the hazard of F.O.D. on the ramp. With the Oklahoma winds, this material would never be where you wanted and needed it to be.

Another task we use this for is when we Purge the Aircraft engines for storage , before we remove the engines off the aircraft. When we use the purging fluid to cycle thru the engines, the Spill pro is always there, to mop up any fluid that comes out during the purge. The list goes on and on and daily, we are finding new ways of using this jewel, to our benefit.

The amazing thing, is with several dozen people using this unit, it is a no brainer in operation. It is simple and easy to use, and the unit has hardly no moving parts to wear out or break down.

On the average , we have been using ours for around 18 hours a day sometimes 7 days a week, and it works like it did on day 1. being a Work leader out here at Tinker and having 30 plus years of doing this job, we have finally found a unit that works to our advantage and lives up to it's name.

I know years ago, people were reading in the paper about the government buying $700.00 hammers and $2,000.00 latrines, but they would be proud in the government today, hearing how little we paid for a unit that works like this unit does.

We recently purchased the Spillpro units for our shop to eliminate the need for floor dry absorbent. Do to the high importance of contamination in Caterpillar Dealer repair facility we found the Spillpro saved us money and gave us no reason to continue to use the absorbent.

It is now being used in some of our other facilities and during our recent inspection from Caterpillar it helped us receive the highest score possible.

Good Afternoon,

My name is Tom Rakowski out here at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kevin Santillie just performed a demo on your product and I just wanted to tell you, that this gentleman was perfect. Your product is something that we have been searching for, and Kevin talked to us, on terms that we can understand.

He wasn't dressed in a suit and tie and afraid of getting a bit dirty. He is very knowledgeable about the product he represents and answered all the questions that everyone had for him. I can only speak for the -135 Aircraft Division, but I can say that he opened the door for your product to be used and sold out here on the Air Force Base.

As soon as our Safety office checks it out and see's just what a great asset this machine will be for us, I am sure that they will be talking to the other weapon systems like B-1, E-3 , B -52 and the Navy Squadron, to invest in this product.

Kevin is a valuable asset to your company and we just wanted to extend a "THANK YOU" to him and the company he represents. I am sure that with the next few weeks, you will be hearing from our purchasing personal, and they will be putting in their order to purchase your product.

Have a wonderful week end and keep up the fine job. Thank You Kevin and
Spillpro.
